No other word for it but Fantastic!

The evening went down a real treat and was a great success, everyone dressed for the occasion and looked great. A glass of bubbly on arrival set the mood for some, while others opt for the juice (Not a bad idea for next time). It did not take long before heads were down scanning the race books, and bets flowing at the totes.

The venue (Top of the Park) was amazing, and with the mix of our members and the public, it was a very exciting place to be when the horses were heading down the straight towards the finishing line.
I have never seen so many tantalizing dishes to choose from at the buffet, and would be very surprised if folks managed to sample everything on the tables. The beverage service to the tables was excellent, a big thank you to Alexandra Park management and staff.
“Word is there were quite a few lucky punters on the night, and for one of our members in particular, a real winner whose ticket was picked in the draw for 10% winnings of “Auckland Reactor”, that won the cup on the night. Auckland Reactor is truly a famous horse that has lost
only two racesinternationally throughout his racing career.
Sad to say the staff at the Society was not so lucky with the pickings of the night !

Our camera operator Michael certainly took photos, approximately 118 shots to be exact....so we had
plenty to choose from for our website, so take a look when you get time!
